The Country House in SiP and Rachel Rising

The country house is an important location in both Strangers In Paradise and Rachel Rising. So much happens at this house that it became like a supporting character I grew to love and rely upon. I was there recently, standing on the front porch and it struck me how many scenes I could see from this one spot. So I made a short video.

2020 Here we go!

We’re off to C2E2 this weekend for the first convention of the 2020 season. As usual, Robyn is totally ready and I still need to go pack. But I am prepared with a folder full of sketch art. I managed to draw about 30 new pieces. I’ve been posting them on my social media accounts but I’ll attached a few samples below. BTW, you can find me at “TerryMooreArt” onĀ Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

In book news, Five Years #8 is out on the stands. Lilith makes a powerful entrance into the series and Zoe encounters a couple of big mean intimidating guards. Oh so scary… for them. šŸ˜‰

At the show this weekend we will have the Five Years: Fire In The Sky trade paperpack, the new 2020 Sketchbook, and the giant of all books the Strangers In Paradise Gallery Edition. Plus the omnibuses of Rachel Rising, Echo, Motor Girl, and Strangers In Paradise XXV, new lapel pins of Francine and Katchoo and much more. I hope to see you there!

Holiday Madness! SIP Omnibus delivers! Five Years #6!

The Strangers in Paradise Omnibus arrived safely and we’ve shipped out all the pre-orders. How’s THAT for a good news update?! Robyn and I are thrilled it worked out and the books are gorgeous and all the hard work to make it happen was worth it. Thank you to everyone who faithfully invested in this with your preorders. You were very important to the process and we could not have done it without you. We take your trust and support very seriously. Now we’re holding the books in our hand, I feel it is the result of many people coming together to make it happen. So cool.

Today being Dec. 11, the new issue of Five Years hits the stands today. Issue 6 has a deceptively simple cover; the story inside is deepā€”reaching all the way back to Echoā€”and it marks the return of SIP fan favorite, Casey! Fearless, affectionate… the only person we know who isn’t afraid of Tambi Baker. Good grief!

Our YouTube channel: Studio Sundays

We’re home at last after an end of the year quick tour of 1. CXC in Columbus, 2. New York Comic Con and 3. FACTS in Belgium. Whew! While that was going on we started our own YouTube channel; easy to find at Terry MooreArt, naturally, like all my social media accounts at Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. Ā There I’m posting timelapse videos of drawing and inking and something Robyn and I do together called Studio Sunday. That is where Robyn asks me questions people send in while I’m drawing. These action-packed videos are informative and honest, offering a behind the scenes look at our world and my work. If you have a question you’d like addressed in an upcoming video, send it to [email protected].
.
Today’s Studio Sunday vidanswers the question: What is your work process with writing and drawing? Do you do one then the other or both or what?
.
It also offers a FIRST LOOK, SNEAK PEEK at the Exclusive Print for the Strangers In Paradise Omnibus! This is of course the print that comes with all preorders of the Omnibus before we begin shipping it next month. There’s still time for you to preorder your copy and get the print that looks like it’s going to be beautiful.
